Naxalbari, 01st December: SSB has once again apprehended a youth for trying to smuggle cattle across the border. The said youth was arrested along with three cattle from Naxalbari near the Mechi river of the Indo-Nepal border. The arrested youth has been identified as Poikash Kujur, a resident of the Manjha tea garden area.
Reportedly, the 8th battalion of SSB arrested him when Poikash was bringing cattle from Nepal to India. After this, the SSB handed over to the Naxalbari police for further action. The police are further investigating to find out the involvement of more people in the cattle-smuggling.
