Siliguri, 15th June: Cops of Bhakti Nagar police station received a tip-off regarding a youth who had come to the Toribari Salugara area to sell illegal narcotics. Acting promptly, the police launched an operation and arrested the said youth, identified as Suraj Bishwakarma.
Upon searching, more than 24 bottles of cough syrup were recovered from his possession. The accused was produced in Jalpaiguri court today. Police are probing the whole matter.
