Siliguri, 16th July: A miscreant has been arrested on charge of theft at the Vanya Jeev Sansadhan Rakshak Karyalay (Wildlife Resource Guard) office located in Deshbandhu Para under Siliguri Police Station. The arrested accused has been identified as Sanjib Das.
According to reports, on July 9th, miscreants made way with several items including two stand fans. The next day, a complaint was filed at the Siliguri Police Station. Subsequently, an investigation was initiated by the police based on the complaint. On Saturday night, the cops of Siliguri Police Station arrested the accused from ward no. 28 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC). Following the arrest, police also recovered all the stolen items including the stand fans. Today, the accused has been produced before the Siliguri Court.
