Siliguri, 24th July: The Khalpara Outpost police have arrested an individual, identified as Nichen Tamang, a resident of Kurseong, on charges of theft involving a mobile phone and a laptop.
According to reports, a laptop and a mobile phone belonging to Denzong Bhutia, a resident of Jalpai More, were stolen last month. Bhutia subsequently filed a complaint at the Khalpara Outpost.
Following an investigation and acting on information from secret sources, the police apprehended Tamang on Tuesday night in the Milan More area. The stolen mobile phone and laptop were recovered. Tamang was produced in Siliguri court on Wednesday.
