North Bengal Business Meet organized at Biswa Bangla Shilpi Haat in Kawakhali

Siliguri, 07th December: On Thursday, the North Bengal Business Summit was organized at Biswa Bangla Shilpi Haat in Kawakhali, Siliguri. The conference was graced by Bengal Chief Secretary Hari Krishna Dwivedi and representatives from several business organizations and entrepreneurs from eight districts in North Bengal.


According to reports, an investment proposal of 24 thousand crore rupees was put forward at the conference aiming for major work completion within two years. Several themes were covered at the conference, including the state government’s role in various departments of commerce and other plans for the future. In addition, the entrepreneurs specified the amount to be invested in future trades.

While addressing the media at the conference, Chief Secretary Hari Krishna Dwivedi highlighted the several initiatives undertaken by the state government for industrial development in North Bengal since she came to power. Currently, the North Bengal Art Culture has evolved in both aspects. In addition, all possible efforts will be made for further growth of the number of industries in North Bengal in the future.


Simultaneously, developmental works in various locations, including the airport in North Bengal, were also a topic of discussion at the conference. In every field of work, the Chief Secretary has assured the entrepreneurs of possible cooperation from the state government.
