Siliguri, 26th June: The significant event of International Anti-Drug Day is annually celebrated in every police station under the initiative of the Siliguri Metropolitan Police. On Wednesday, the NJP police station led an awareness rally along with various other police stations with the aim of building a drug-free society.
As per reports, the awareness rally was carried out by the NJP police station in collaboration with a voluntary organization. The rally traversed through various locations and was graced by the presence of OC Nirmal Das of the NJP police station and other police officers.
Speaking on behalf of the organization, Sujoy Biswas, a member, highlighted extending their support to the police in order to free society from drug abuse.
