Siliguri, 13th May: NJP Police successfully recovered a stolen Toto and apprehended two individuals in connection with the incident. The theft occurred on Thursday night when Manzoor Ali, a resident of Tangarpada village, visited his relative in the Baniyapada area, accompanied by his family members in his Toto vehicle. Upon their return, they discovered that the Toto was missing. After an extensive search, Ali filed a written complaint at the NJP police station on Friday.
Acting swiftly, the police launched an investigation and were able to recover the stolen Toto within a few hours. Two individuals, Mohammad Nazir from Siliguri’s Tikiapara and Mohammad Shahid from the adjoining Jotiakali area, were arrested in connection with the incident. The accused have been produced in the Jalpaiguri district court today. The police continue to probe the entire incident.
