Siliguri, 15th August: On the 74th Independence Day of India, the NJP police carried out Naka checking on Saturday to maintain peace in the city.
Reportedly, strict surveillance is being kept by the police in NJP station, bus terminus, and various parts of the city. Naka checking was carried out at Tinbatti More today under the leadership of Paresh Barman, the SI of NJP Police station.
