Siliguri, 27th November: NJP police arrested a man with illegal country-made and domestic liquor. The arrested accused has been identified as Ratan Sarkar.
It has been learned that Ratan Sarkar, a resident of Baribhasha, had been running an illegal liquor business at home for a long time. Upon receiving the news, NJP police raided the house on Friday evening. Illegal country-made and domestic liquor were recovered from his house.
The arrested accused was sent to Jalpaiguri court on Saturday.
