Siliguri, 14th June: The NJP police, based on a tip-off, launched operations at the Siliguri Laketown area and arrested a youth on the charge of selling intoxicating injections, on Sunday night. The arrested accused has been identified as Biswajit Roy, a resident of Baribhasha. 85 drug injections were recovered from his possession.
According to police sources, he has been involved in this business for a long time. He was sent to Jalpaiguri court on Monday.
