Jalpaiguri, 29th December: Electronic train services from NJP to Cooch Behar will be launched soon. Alipurduar ADRM N. K. Jindal inspected Jalpaiguri Road station on Tuesday. Several railway officials accompanied him.
According to the railway sources, electricity connection work concerning the operation of the electronic train has been completed. The railway authorities are hopeful that the train services will begin this new year.
Reportedly, Jindal reached Jalpaiguri Road station from Alipurduar in a special train and inspected minute details of the project. He stated that the infrastructure of the electronic train was inspected and the DRM will arrive on January 04.
