Nigamananda Mission extends support to storm-affected families in Maynaguri

Maynaguri, 21st May: The villages of Barnes and Putimari in the Maynaguri block were severely impacted by a devastating storm. Following the disaster, Nigamananda Mission has been actively supporting the affected families.


On Tuesday, Nigamananda Mission’s Dangapara Ashram in Jalpaiguri distributed table fans to around 100 storm-affected families. The distribution event saw the presence of Srimat Swami Satyabratananda Saraswati, Shrimat Swami Dhyananda Saraswati, Nirmal Choudhary, Mihir Sarkar, Tarun Dutta, Gauranga Sharma, and other Ashram members, along with the President of the Ashram.

Nigamananda Mission has consistently supported the affected families since the storm struck. Ashram President Swami Satyabratananda Saraswati emphasized that Sri Sri Thakur Maharaj had a tradition of providing relief in storm-affected areas and advised on human services. Following his guidance, the mission continues to stand by and assist the distressed people.
