Siliguri, 03rd February: A shocking incident came to light in Siliguri as the body of a newborn baby was recovered from the Panchnai River in Ward No. 46.
As per reports, local residents spotted the infant’s body in the river early on Tuesday morning and immediately informed the Pradhan Nagar police station.
The police rushed to the scene, retrieved the newborn’s body, and sent it to Siliguri District Hospital. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
