Nantu Paul returns to Siliguri after joining BJP

Siliguri, 01st April: Nantu Paul returned to Siliguri on Thursday after joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) yesterday in Kolkata.


It is to be noted that Nantu Paul left TMC and submitted his nomination papers as an independent candidate in the Siliguri Assembly after he did not see eye to eye with his party's decision in making Om Prakash Mishra the TMC candidate for the Siliguri assembly. Ending all speculations, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kolkata, on Wednesday.

Today, while addressing the media in Siliguri, Paul stated that he has joined BJP in the interest of the development of the city. He said that from now on, he will fulfill all the responsibilities that will be given to him by the party.
