Siliguri, 10th March: A shocking case has emerged in Siliguri, where allegations have been raised over a young man’s death after he was summoned for work. The incident unfolded in Jyotirmay Colony, under Ward No. 32 of Siliguri. The deceased has been identified as Abhijeet Debnath (22).
According to reports, on March 5, Abhijeet was summoned for work by a dumper driver Rajesh Das. However, the situation took a disturbing turn when news emerged on March 8 that Abhijeet had met with a fatal road accident. Suspicions arose when family members found multiple injuries on Abhijeet’s body. As a result, the deceased’s family have pointed fingers at dumper driver Rajesh Das, accusing him of being involved in Abhijeet’s untimely demise.
Following the incident, the family took swift action, lodging a written complaint at the NJP police station, and urging authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. They demand justice and punishment for those responsible for Abhijeet’s death. As the investigation unfolds, the community awaits answers and hopes for a swift resolution to this tragic case.
