Siliguri, 21st April: The NJP police arrested a person surrounding the mysterious death of a minor girl in Shantipara. He was produced at the Jalpaiguri court today.
The deceased’s family lodged a missing complaint at the NJP police station on April 14. Following this, her body with a slit throat was recovered from the Fulbari canal on April 18.
The mourning family lodged a complaint against several people for killing their daughter. Based on the complaint, the Police launched operations and arrested a minor boy from Shantipara on Tuesday. An investigation has been launched into the whole incident.
