Siliguri, 15th June: MP Jayanta Roy inspected the market areas of several wards under Siliguri Municipal Corporation in Jalpaiguri Lok Sabha constituency.
The MP distributed masks in different areas of Durganagar Colony, Ghogomali Bazar, Haiderpara vegetable market, and Anchal Bazar. He also raised COVID-19 awareness among the people and asked them to take precautionary measures to combat the virus. He also assured of taking appropriate steps concerning the issues in Fuleswari and Jorapani river.
Addressing the media, he stated that all party activities have been suspended due to the pandemic. He further assured to provide a speedy solution regarding all the problems in the city.
