MoS Sukanta Majumdar distributes job appointment letters at ‘Rozgar Mela’ in Rajganj

Rajganj, 12th February: MoS for Education, Sukanta Majumdar, distributed job appointment letters to young job seekers during a Rozgar Mela (job fair) organized on Monday. The event was part of a nationwide initiative by the central government, which held similar fairs in 45 locations across the country.


The event was inaugurated virtually by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Rozgar Mela was launched via video conference and 71,000 appointment letters were handed over to youth across the nation. In addition, Prime Minister Modi also addressed the youth emphasizing the government’s commitment to providing employment.

As part of the Rozgar Mela, a ceremony was held at the BSF Radharbari Sector Headquarters, where appointment letters were distributed to nearly 264 individuals, including women. Central Minister Sukanta Majumdar personally handed over appointment letters to 25 of the newly recruited individuals at the event.


In this regard, Majumdar stated that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi about 71,000 appointment letters were distributed among the youth across the country. The Prime Minister has committed to providing government jobs to 10 lakh youth, and the initiative is progressing toward achieving this goal. On Monday, appointment letters were distributed to 264 people at the BSF Radharbari camp, including 25 in Rajganj.
