Siliguri, 22nd June: In response to the devastating fire at Hollong Bungalow, Minister of State for Forests, Birbaha Hansda, has arrived in North Bengal.
Reportedly, Minister Hansda traveled from Kolkata, arriving at Bagdogra Airport on Saturday before proceeding to Alipurduar. She is set to meet with Forest Department officials to discuss the incident.
Speaking to the media, Minister Hansda confirmed that an investigation is underway into the fire. She noted that a team is being assembled to conduct a thorough inquiry and emphasized that no conclusions can be drawn until the investigation is complete. Additionally, a meeting was held on Friday to address the maintenance of the forest bungalow.
