Siliguri, 29th July: Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh has taken initiative to stop the wastage of drinking water in the city. Today, he installed stopcocks at various taps in Siliguri’s Jhankar More adjoining area. Also, he spread awareness among the common people regarding the misuse and wastage of drinking water.
The MLA urged the people to not waste water in any way. He further said that such programmes will be organized in different parts of the city in the coming days as well.
