Rajganj, 08th December: The foundation stone for the construction of a new concrete road was laid on in the Ambari Sahebbari area under the Binna Gram Panchayat of Rajganj Block. The ceremony was led by local MLA Khageswar Roy.
According to sources, the road will be built with financial assistance of around ₹7 lakh from the Binnaguri Gram Panchayat fund. The project is expected to improve connectivity in the area and benefit several nearby villages.
Apart from the MLA, those present at the foundation-laying ceremony included Binnaguri Gram Panchayat Pradhan Samijuddin Ahmed, Anchal President Tushar Kanti Dutta, Panchayat member Bhabani Shankar Roy, Gautam Roy, and other local representatives.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Khageswar Roy said that a long-standing demand of the local residents has finally been fulfilled. He added that once completed, the road will significantly ease transportation for people from multiple villages in the region.
