Rajganj, 30th July: Geetanjali Debnath, a resident of Rajganj Sariam area, who scored an impressive 480 marks out of 500 in her Higher Secondary examinations 2020, was felicitated on behalf of Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy and Rajganj Joint BDO Somnath Biswas.
As per the information, Gitanjali is a student of Fatapukur Saradamani High School in Rajganj block. She aims to become a WBCS officer in the future. Her father Sudhangshu Debnath who is a daily wager is worried concerning her higher education due to the family’s poor financial condition.
On Thursday, Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy as well as Rajganj Joint BDO Somnath Biswas visited Sudhanshu Debnath’s residence in the Hubuparara area of Kukurjan Gram Panchayat and felicitated Gitanjali with flowers and sweets. Apart from this, the MLA assured her of taking responsibility for her higher education.
