MLA extends helping hand to the family members of houses burnt in fire in Rajganj

Rajganj, 29th February: The Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy extended a helping hand to the family members of the houses burnt in a fire in the Choudhury Vita village of Rajganj. The MLA provided the family members with 10 blankets, 10 tarpaulins and a cash amount of Rs 5000. He also assured the people that help will be provided by the Government.


It was reported that 7 houses, in the village of Choudhury Vita under Panikouri Gram Panchayat, were burnt to ashes on the 10th of February. The family members of Harimohan Roy, a resident of the area whose house was burnt, were assisted by the Gram Panchayat management, BJP, and Trinamool Congress on the day of the incident, but the MLA came forward to help them, today. In this context, the MLA stated that he was out of the station and was busy for a few days do he could not come earlier.
