Siliguri, 19th August: The body of a missing person was recovered from a pond in the Daspara area of Phansidewa, on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Hiran Modak (55).
Paritosh Modak, the elder brother of the deceased, said that Hiran Modak had been missing for the past three days. Police have sent the body to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for autopsy and are investigating the whole incident.
