Siliguri, 10th September: A young girl who had been missing was found in an injured state, lost her battle against life. The deceased has been identified as Nobita Sahni (21), a resident of Bagrakote area. She was admitted to North Medical College and Hospital and was undergoing treatment for five days; she breathed her last on Friday.
The police have started an investigation to solve the mystery of the young girl who was found in bizarre circumstances that led to her death. It is to be noted that last Sunday, the girl had left the house to take the offerings of Ganesh Puja, but did not return home. After which the family members searched for Nobita all night, but no trace of her was found.
On Monday, a day after the incident, the family members of the girl came to know that she was admitted to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. She had serious injury marks on her head and chest. The girl’s left arm and back had also been broken. After which the family reached the hospital and met her. The families suspected foul play in her disappearance and the situation she was found in.
The family was waiting for Nobita’s recovery, but unfortunately, she died last night. It has been learned that a complaint has been lodged at the Siliguri police station on behalf of the family of the deceased girl. After which the police started an investigation.
