Siliguri, 22nd July: In a tragic incident in the Swaminagar area in Siliguri’s Ward No. 07, a minor girl succumbed to dengue fever. The deceased minor was identified as Jeyna Khanam. This marks the first dengue-related death in the city this year.

According to sources, the girl had been suffering from fever for the past 3-4 days. Despite receiving medical treatment, her condition did not improve, prompting her admission to a nursing home last Saturday.
