Rajganj, 25th November: Tension spread in Sannyasikata under Rajganj Block after the body of a minor girl was recovered from a pond near Lal School in Paschim Balabari.
According to local sources, the deceased, identified as Roshna Khatun, daughter of Mohammad Ibam of Paschim Balabari, left home after having tea in the morning as usual.
When she did not return for a long time, family members started searching for her. Her shoes were later found near a pond, raising suspicion. Locals then began searching the pond, where the body of the minor was eventually recovered.
Police were informed soon after and reached the spot. The body was sent for post-mortem examination. Rajganj Police have begun investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
