Siliguri, 05th October: Minister of Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju arrived at Bagdogra Airport today for his North Bengal tour.
He landed at the airport directly from Delhi, where he was warmly welcomed at the airport by BJP leaders and activists. The minister said that his visit is mainly to attend the Sewa and Samarthan Yatra in North Bengal. Jalpaiguri MP Jayanta Roy was also present.
Addressing the media, Rijiju said, “I am on North Bengal tour to attend the Sewa and Samarthan Yatra. I will hear out all the problems of the region and will hold needful discussions with the party leaders and workers.”
Following this, he left for Jalpaiguri. However, he did not speak about the political situation.
