Siliguri, 02nd June: After a catastrophic fire broke out in the Siliguri Mahabirsthan area today, State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb, along with the IC of Siliguri police station, inspected the spot and assured the traders of providing compensation.
The Minister stated that the traders are already facing deep losses in such a crisis and on top of that the fire break out was really unfortunate and has further worsened the situation for them. He then assured of holding a discussion soon with the higher authorities.
