Gajoldoba, 12th December: Chief Minister (CM) Mamata Banerjee virtually inaugurated the renamed ‘Bhorer Alo police station’, from the Kanchenjunga Stadium in Siliguri. Notably, Milan Pally Outpost adjacent to Gajoldoba under Siliguri Police Commissionerate has been renamed to ‘Bhorer Alo police station’.
Reportedly, on Tuesday, in addition to the launch of several government services and projects, the CM virtually inaugurated the newly named police station. During this, Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, Sandeep Dutta, Hirukanti Sarkar and other police officials were present.
It has to be noted that CM Mamata Banerjee virtually inaugurated the bridge in Gajoldoba on Monday. Given the importance of the Bhorer Alo tourist center, the police station has also been improved and upgraded with modern infrastructure.
