Bagdogra, 27th January: In a tragic incident, a mentally challenged woman was injured in a wild elephant attack in Bagdogra forest.
Reportedly, the said woman was sitting near the forest during which she was attacked, resulting in injuries. After the incident, the woman was first sent to Bagdogra Rural Hospital and later to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).
In this regard, Ranger Sonam Bhutia stated the woman to be in good health. However, the identity of the woman is yet to be ascertained.
