Cooch Behar, 27th October: Tragedy befell as Mekliganj MLA Paresh Chandra Adhikari’s son, Hirak Jyoti Adhikari, passed away due to a massive heart attack on Friday.
According to reports, earlier on Friday, Hirak Jyoti Adhikari fell unexpectedly ill. He was then rushed to the Mekliganj Mahakuma Hospital, where the medical professionals pronounced him dead upon arrival. The incident left the area in a state of mourning.
In this regard, the Superintendent of the Mekliganj Mahakuma Hospital, Tapas Kumar Das, stated that cardiac respiratory failure and chronic kidney illness are anticipated to be the cause of his death.
