Siliguri, 26th November: In a commendable effort to minimize the shortage of blood, a mega blood donation camp was organized at the Bihar More area of Bagdogra under the initiative of the Workers Association of Bagdogra. The camp was graced by Naxalbari BDO Pranab Chattaraj and others.
Speaking in this regard, Ratan Kumar Ghosh, a member of the organization stated that the initiative was undertaken in order to resolve the issue of blood shortage with a target of collecting 500 units of blood. The collected blood will be transported to the blood banks of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) and Terai Lions.
