Siliguri, 22nd September: The Uttar Banga Teli Samaj organized a mega blood donation and health check-up camp on Sunday. The event commenced at 10 AM at a lodge in Champasari. In addition to blood donation, several health services were provided, including eye check-ups, blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar tests, and ECG examinations.
People from Siliguri and nearby areas, especially from the Teli community, participated in the event. President of the organization, Shambhunath Gupta, mentioned that this was their first large-scale event, and the success was made possible through the cooperative efforts of many members of the community. The blood collected during the camp will be sent to the Siliguri Rotary Blood Bank.
