Siliguri, 04th March: On Monday, Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb inaugurated ambulance services launched by a voluntary organization, Yuva Bharati of Gate Bazaar for the patients. The event witnessed the presence of Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, Town Chairman Pratul Chakraborty, MMIC Manik Dey, Ward Councillor Tapas Chatterjee, Biman Tapadar and others.
According to reports, the voluntary organization, Yuva Bharati, has been involved in social services for a prolonged time. At present, the Gate Bazaar Yuva Bharati has established in the form of small health center. Several people visit the center for health check-up prompting the ambulance services.
In this regard, Yuva Bharati President Manoj Das mentioned that the ambulance services would be made available for the general public at an affordable cost.
