Rajganj, 23rd January: Marathon competitions were organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Rajganj block.
Reportedly, on Tuesday, under the auspices of Battala Cable Para Market Hata Byabasayee Samiti, a marathon was organized from Phulati Para Primary School of Shikarpur area of Rajganj to Belakoba Battala Haat.
Meanwhile, Belakoba Public Club initiated another running competition from Dasdarga More to Public Club ground. Significantly, participants from Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Mekliganj, and Haldibari participated in this competition.
The event witnessed the presence of Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, Rajganj Panchayat Committee President Rupali Dey Sarkar, and local Panchayat members.
