Rajganj, 26th January: On the occasion of the 75th Republic Day, an 8 km marathon has been organized under the initiative of Rajganj Sree Sangha Club. The event commenced from Gadra and concluded at Rajganj Sree Sangha Club under Sannyasikata Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block.
According to reports, Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy and Panchayat Samiti President Rupali Dey Sarkar officially inaugurated the competition by hoisting the national flag.
Speaking at the occasion, Club member Arindam Banerjee stated that a marathon has been organized on the occasion of Republic Day under the initiative of Rajganj Sree Sangha Club. The event witnessed the active participation of 110 contestants. He added that the first, second, and third-place winners of the competition will be rewarded.
