Siliguri, 27th July: People have been queuing for more than 36 hours to get the COVID vaccine at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital since Sunday evening.
Most of them did not get the coupon on Monday and waited at the hospital premises to get vaccinated the next day. People from different parts of Siliguri waited the entire night in front of the vaccination centre on Monday.
From medical colleges to hospitals and health centres, long queues are being spotted for vaccination. People are waiting for more than 12 hours. Again, many are not getting coupons due to the lack of adequate vaccines.
