Rajganj, 29th September: Sensation prevailed in the area of Gormota Gaj village of Majhiali under Rajganj block after a body of a person was recovered from the Sahu River. This incident took place this morning in the said area. The deceased has been identified as Sukuru Karoa (55), a resident of Telipara and a tea worker.
According to locals, Sukuru Karoa had crossed the river from Telipara this morning and came to Gormota village. While returning from there, he got washed away in the river. Later his body was recovered from the river. On the other hand, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the Rajganj police reached the spot and started investigating the whole matter.
