Rajganj, 04th March: Sensation prevailed in the area after the lifeless body of an individual was found hanging from the noose in Rajganj. The deceased Fulchand Oraon (48) is a resident of Khudibhita under Majhiali Gram Panchayat of the Rajganj block.
According to reports, Fulchand had returned home from a ceremony on Sunday and fell asleep later that night. However, when he did not come out of his room for a long time, his family became suspicious. Upon entering his room, they found Fulchand hanging from the noose.
Following the incident, he was recovered and sent to Rajganj Rural Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead upon arrival. In this regard, the family members were unable to comprehend the reason prompting him to take such an extreme step.
On Monday morning, the officials of Rajganj police station transported the deceased body to the Jalpaiguri District Hospital for post-mortem examination. At present, the police are engaged in further investigation.
