Rajganj, 24th January: A tragic incident has come to the fore where the lifeless body of a man was found hanging from a noose in the temple of his residence. The deceased individual has been identified as Deepak Das (55).
According to reports, the incident surfaced from the North Bengal Farm area located under the Shikarpur Gram Panchayat of the Rajganj block. The family members of the deceased spotted the hanging body earlier on Wednesday. Following this, the matter was immediately informed to Rajganj police station.
Subsequently, the police arrived at the scene and transported the body to the Jalpaiguri District Hospital for a post-mortem examination. At present, the entire incident is under further investigation.
