Rajganj, 25th February: Rana Das, a labourer residing in the Kamarbhita village adjacent to the Ambari barrage of Rajganj block, has been searching for his missing wife Sumna Das (26), and daughter Beauty Das (6) for the past 13 days.
Reportedly, on February 13, Sumna left home and departed for Fatapukur with her daughter. Upon returning home from work, Rana Das found out that his wife and daughter had not returned. Subsequently, Rana looked for them at their relatives’ and friends’ places but to no avail. Later, Rana Das filed a missing complaint at the Ambari Outpost. However, his wife and daughter could not be located despite 13 days since the incident.
