Cooch Behar, 12th April: In a tragic incident, an individual identified as Yadav Chandra Singh, a petrol pump owner, lost his life in a road accident in an area adjacent to the Mathabhanga Dakghara petrol pump.
As per reports, Yadav Chandra Singh went for a morning walk similar to other days and spoke to his employees at the pump. Subsequently, while he was returning home, he was hit by a speeding fish-laden vehicle. Consequently, he fell on the road.
After the incident, he was rescued and transported to Mathabhanga Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. Later, the body was sent for a post mortem examination. Currently, the police are engaged in a detailed investigation of the incident.
