Rajganj, 05th February: In a tragic incident, the hanging body of a young man was recovered from a tea garden in the Paglahat area of Sannyasikata Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block. The deceased has been identified as Khokon Roy (34).
According to family sources, the deceased body of Khokon Roy was recovered from the tea garden about a few hundred meters away from his house on Sunday evening. In this regard, the family members expressed uncertainty regarding the exact reason behind his suicide.
Meanwhile, upon receiving the information, the Rajganj police arrived at the spot and recovered the body. On Monday, the body was transported to the Jalpaiguri District Hospital for a post-mortem. The officers of the Rajganj police station have initiated an investigation into the entire incident.
