Rajganj, 09th December: A man drowned while fishing at Fulbari Barrage, on Wednesday evening. No trace of him has been found so far. The missing person has been identified as Dilip Das (45) of DS Colony in the NJP area.
According to local sources, Dilip Das went fishing in the Mahananda river at Fulbari Barrage on Wednesday morning. At 4 pm, he accidentally drowned while crossing the river to reach a rock pile.
Upon receiving the news, his family members reached Fulbari Barrage on Thursday morning to search for him. The matter has been reported to the Phansidewa police on behalf of the family.
