Alipurduar, 19th November: In a tragic incident, a man lost his life after being struck by a vehicle in the Chakchaka area of Alipurduar district.
Reports indicate that the individual, while traveling to work in a vehicle loaded with sand and stones, was hit from behind by a smaller vehicle. The impact caused serious injuries to the man. He was immediately rescued and rushed to Kamakhyaguri Hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
The body has been sent to Alipurduar District Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
