Cooch Behar, 27th February: Pall of gloom engulfed the area after a person died after being hit by a train. The incident surfaced from the area adjacent to New Gosairhat railway station in Cooch Behar.
The deceased has been identified as Maneshwar Barman. Reportedly, Maneshwar was a chicken seller by profession. He died this morning after being hit by a train. After this, the locals informed the police about the said. RPF reached the spot as soon as the news was received. After this Mathabhanga police also reached the spot. However, the body has been recovered and taken to Mathabhanga mortuary for postmortem.
