Siliguri, 25th January: A youth has been arrested in connection with the recent case of attempting to steal and vandalize a statue in the Shiv Shakti Kali Mandir at Gate Bazar under New Jalpaiguri Police station. The arrested youth has been identified as Raju Das, a resident of the Mamatapara area of NJP Police station.
It was reported that the Police were searching for the accused who tried to steal and vandalize a statue in the Shiv Shakti Kali Mandir at Gate Bazar.
The arrested accused was presented in the Jalpaiguri court, today.
