Phansidewa, 14th October: In a distressing incident, a man has been arrested for the alleged murder of his nephew, identified as Seb Munda, in the Managach area of Phansidewa. The incident, which occurred on Sunday night, has created a sensation in the locality.
According to reports, Saren Munda, the accused, had a heated argument with his wife that evening. Seb Munda, the deceased, visited his maternal uncle and aunt’s home in an attempt to resolve the quarrel. However, during his visit, he was allegedly attacked. Seb Munda was immediately rushed to Phansidewa Rural Hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.
After the incident, cops from Phansidewa police station were alerted which led to the arrest of Saren Munda. The deceased’s body has been sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination.
Meanwhile, the accused has been produced before the Siliguri Sub-Divisional Court. Authorities are currently investigating the entire case.
