Islampur, 07th April: Around 14-15 houses were burnt to ashes after a sudden fire broke out in the residence of Mohammad Hasimuddin in Kuchila village under Sujali Gram Panchayat of Islampur block.
As per the report, the fire initially broke out in the haystack of Hasimuddin’s house and the blaze eventually spread to the next 14-15 houses.
Upon receiving the news, the Islampur police and 2 fire engines reached the spot and extinguished the fire. The firefighters have primarily assumed that the fire broke out accidentally from a clay stove. The Islampur Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
